My Story

Hello there and welcome. It's my pleasure to share with you and your fur friends my joy in creating wonderful stuff for them to snack on. One of my mottos is "Dog does not live by kibble alone." Some small part of their diet, say 10-15%, should be enhanced with foods that provide a nutritious variety in their diet. You don't eat the same meal every day...why should your pet?

For 25 years, I bred champion Rhodesian Ridgebacks. If you're not familiar, they're big, brown hunting dogs. As we competed in shows, lure coursing and obedience trials, I looked for ways to improve their overall health and endurance. I began to make all of their foods and snacks. I noticed an immediate change in their energy level. The more research I completed on nutrition, the more enthusiastic and creative I became in developing formulas. Eventually, I opened a pet bakery and I haven't stopped making pet treats since. "Sniffs" is the latest embodiment of my efforts. My current pooch is a very finicky German Shorthaired Pointer named "Cory." She's lucky she's so cute because she's wild as f*ck! In order to entice her to do ANYTING, I've got to have a snack that convinces her she wants it more than to keep doing the wild thing she's presently executing. {Sigh.} Cory is a huge snack snob. Luckily, I make great treats. {Wicked grin.}

The focus is on nutrition to supplement the diet. Organic, when available, and gently processed so that your pet can smell the aroma and sense its goodness.
